We purchased a Presto Waffle make about a year ago and used it weekly. The waffles were great and evenly baked. The timer also was very easy to use and helped with the sourdough waffles I was able to perfect. Last week we tried to use it, as usual. It waffle maker was dead! A quick check indicated the cord, elements and thermostat were OK. Problem most likely with the circuit board. My conclusion is that the maker has a life expectancy of a year. We will be looking elsewhere for it's replacement.

I bought this waffle maker after throwing away my old expensive one. Waffles kept getting stuck on its "non-stick" grid. I read the reviews and was skeptical that an inexpensive waffle maker could do a decent job. My concerns have been totally allayed. The Presto flipside makes perfect waffles every time. It cleans up and stores easily. It heats quickly. With my old waffle maker, I would dread it when the kids asked for waffles. Now, I'm the one who asks them if they want waffles.
