The stay cool handle is ergonomically designed and is safe to use in an oven up to 500F. Metal utensils are safe to use on the non-stick surface and the pan is safe for use in the dishwasher. The inside depth of this fry pan is 1.5". The diamond reinforced non-stick cooking surface truly separates this 10" skillet from all others in a way that will enhance the users cooking skills. Since I am on a low-carb diet I have used this pan for omelets just about every day for months and months. It provides a beautiful sliding surface with just a quick spray of PAM. I am ordering a replacement because I unintentionally left the pan on low heat for about 45 minutes and now its not quite as good. I don't think you can expect any non-stick pan to stand up to that kind of abuse. I use my three Swiss Diamond pans all the time and love them.

The pan is well made. Clean up is exceptionally easy. The key to keeping it in good shape is not to overheat it. I use it to scramble eggs over medium flame. I do not need oil or butter. A solid purchase.
